The copier allows copying the contents of most popular eeproms equipped with I2C or MicroWire serial interfaces.
The code of the selected device is displayed on a 2-digit LED. The choice of the device type is performed by the “SELECT” button.
Selection is stored and recalled also after power off. The displayed codes refer to device types indicated on the front panel printing.

Eeprom contents copying
The "source" device should be placed in the left-side socket. The "target" device should be placed in right-side socket. Copying is initiated by pressing the “COPY” button. The copying process is indicated by sequential lighting single LED segments on the edge of the display. Every shift of the lightened segment indicates new 256-byte area is being copied. Every copied byte (I2C) or word (MicroWire) is automatically verified. The termination of the copying process is indicated by displaying “[ ]” (O.K.) or “Er” (Error) message. The write time and number of bytes written in one transmission cycle are calculated experimentally to achieve the highest possible copying speed suitable for the given device. The contents of the "source" eeprom is safe. It will not be accidentally modified even by incorrect user’s operation.
Eeprom erase
The copier allows also erasing the memory contents. Filling with all "zeros" and all "ones" is possible.
Eeprom test
Erasing the device twice: first with “zeros”, next with “ones” (verification takes place automatically) allows the complete test of all memory cells. The failure in a single cell will result in displaying the error message.
Supply
The copier requires external supply from a 9V DC source (7.5 - 15V applicable).
